Talk about a surreal Fourth…

Fireworks: very cool.

Local park: even cooler — we’ve now discovered a new place to fly kites. We had no clue Whetstone/Park of Roses had a field that big!

Surreal: Wow. The band they picked for pre-fireworks entertainment…:shaking head:

Okay. Imagine a playlist of what is supposed to be funky-disco-late 70s hits…done too mellow…played by a group of middle-aged balding white guys in the old “Hawaiian shirts & canvas shorts” outfits.

Now imagine said white guys doing a “Michael Jackson” tribute.

Now imagine these white guys actually having groupies CALLING OUT THEIR NAMES.

Like…WHY???
