I'm getting really really sick of seeing cheesy photoshopped Steve Perry pics in my FB newsfeed that I can't block from folks who aren't even my friends. They're not art, they're not pretty, and they look like something you'd pick up at a funeral home. Jeezus, they're worse than velvet Elvises. Unfortunately, they're happening because … Continue reading STOP IT, just STOP

Proof that I CAN sneak up on a sleeping cat…
This is from about a week ago. I was exhausted; I'd taken Elizabeth Moon's "Kings of the North" and stretched out on the bed, started reading, and just fell asleep -- not due to the book, the book is AWESOME. Been trying a home remedy to … Continue reading what a way to spend a birthday
Eclipse, part II
Okay. Now that I'm more copacetic and aware: I've re-listened to Eclipse. And re-listened. And listened again. "Resonate" still hits hard; for me, it's that powerful, just as "After All These Years" was. Likely because I *know* that feeling, heart-and-soul deep (I'm blessed with my husband, and I know it). AND it's a wonder to … Continue reading Eclipse, part II
Journey’s Eclipse
Finally got the CD, thanks to a birthday gift from Mom. It's been hard to pay attention to it due to the various medical issues; I'm currently lying on the couch, exhausted and fatigued. Latest joker in the deck has been heart-pounding/fluttering/dizziness brought on by severe iron anemia (at least, that's the current theory from … Continue reading Journey’s Eclipse
